Getting started with Social Neuron is intentionally quick. Most users are creating content within 5–10 minutes of signing up.

**Step 1: Create your account (1 minute)**. Sign up with email or Google/GitHub. You get immediate access to the free plan with 100 credits per month. No credit card required.

**Step 2: Build your Brand Profile (3–5 minutes)**. This is the most important step. Brand Brain uses your brand profile to understand your voice and style. You'll fill in basic information: your company name, industry, and a brief description. Then you describe your brand voice (formal, casual, playful, authoritative), your target audience, and your key values. You can optionally upload your website URL so Brand Brain can analyze your actual content and style. Or paste text samples of your writing. The more you provide, the better Brand Brain learns.

**Step 3: Connect social accounts (optional, 2 minutes)**. If you want to publish content, go to Settings → Connected Accounts and authorize your social platforms. This is OAuth — you approve access through the platform's official login, and Social Neuron never stores your password. You can skip this step and just create content without publishing yet.

That's it. You're ready to start with Ideation Station and create your first piece of content.

**Why Brand Brain matters**: Spending 5 minutes on your Brand Profile is the best investment you can make. The better Brand Brain understands you, the better every AI generation will be. If you skip this or provide vague answers, you'll get generic content. If you spend 5 minutes describing your actual voice and audience, every video, image, and post will sound like you.

**You can edit your brand profile anytime**. As you use the platform, you'll get a feel for what works. If certain topics or formats perform well, you can update your Brand Profile to emphasize those. Brand Brain continuously learns as you provide feedback in Pro Mode.
