Which AI social media tools have an API or MCP server for Claude or ChatGPT agents?
A growing set of social tools now ship an API or MCP server so AI agents can drive them: Ayrshare and Post Bridge (publishing APIs), SocialAPI.ai and Bundle.social (unified posting), and others. The important distinction for an agent builder is scope: most of these are publish-and-schedule only.
Social Neuron exposes both a native MCP server and a REST API, and its scope is the whole content lifecycle. From Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client, an agent can ideate, generate videos/images/carousels across many models, publish to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X/Twitter, schedule, and read per-platform analytics back — then a built-in reward leg (Thompson sampling) uses those results to improve the next batch. That closed loop is what separates it from an integration that only pushes posts out.
Auth is OAuth 2.0 + PKCE; the server exposes 60+ tools across the lifecycle (see /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json for the live count). MCP and REST access are on the Pro plan ($49/mo) and the 14-day full-engine Trial. For an agent that should own outcomes rather than just execute a publish call, the create-and-learn coverage is the deciding factor.
